Precision Ground Steel Shafts
Description:
precision ground shaft - for gears with round bores
Material:
alloy steel - hardened and lightly oiled
Ends:
1 chamfered 45° the other tapered for easy installation
Stainless Shafts for "D" Bores
Description:
These are matching shafts for gears with semi-circular "D" bores (1/4 in. dia., 3/16 in. flat). They also feature retaining ring grooves and a segment of straight knurled ridges for securing couplings or other components requiring a non-slip connection.
Diameter:
1/4 in.
Groove:
for 3/16 in. retaining clip
Knurl:
part of the shaft is knurled for better grip by a coupling or clamp

17/64 in. (will press into 1/4 in. hole)
